Brayden is 1 week old!

The consensus is unanimous--He's a carbon copy of Daddy.
It's hard to believe how time flies. Brady is already a week old. He's
almost back to his birth weight and is doing great. Now if only he'll let Mommy
sleep at night........I know I'm dreaming.

Welcome Brayden James Guo

Baby Brayden came into the world a couple of weeks ahead of schedule on
9/14/2009. After months of anticipation, Mommy and Daddy were estatic to
see him. He weigh 7lbs 1oz and is 19" long. He wanted to come out vaginally, but
after close to 24 painful hours of labor, he arrived via C-section.
He's very social--likes staying up and sleep depriving Mommy already.
First look at Brayden

Bath time

Absolutely loved his ride home and his blue blanket-thanks Carol

Waiting for baby.......

I can't believe that our baby will be arriving in a couple of weeks. I have been blessed with a smooth, uneventful pregnancy and the unwavering support of family and friends. Can I possibly say that I might actually miss being pregnant---I know hard to believe. But there is something magical about having a little baby grow inside you that makes all the aches, sleepless nights, congestion, and having to pee every hour completely worth it.

Indiana Dunes

Brian's Itty Bitty Catch of the Day.
On the top of Mount Baldy. The desert in Indiana
The weather was scorching hot and the water icey cold, but we still had a
great time at Indiana Dunes. The scenery was spectacular and there were
lots to do. We spent the day hiking, fishing, beach combing, and dune climbing.

Baby Corner

My nesting instincts have kicked into gear. I'm browsing the ailes of Gymboree and Target weekly--he already has a bigger waldrobe than Daddy (hehe). Brian and I have decided to keep the baby in the room with us the first few month, so we've started decorating his little corner. Hope he likes planes :)
And yes, I know bumper pads are a big no no. I'll take them out when the baby comes home.

Niece and Nephews

Tech Savy with the I-phone
Big brother Anthony and sister Lillian
Alex is back in Indiana after almost spending a year in China. It's amazing to see
how much he has grown and how talkative he is (all chinese of course). Watching the
kids play together this weekend it dawned on me that it won't be long before my baby joins
the bunch. This week I'm officially half way through my pregnancy. I've been lucky to have had such a smooth pregancy so far. Hopefully the next 20 weeks will go by just as fast and
uneventfully as the last.

Graduation at last!

4 years in the making--I finally graduate with my MSN.

Disney World

Our first family vacation to Disney World (even if our baby was only 1o weeks ago)
Mommy was really good and avoided all the thrill rides. We still had a blast.
